From the relative safety of government bonds to high risk leveraged loans and high yield, the bond markets and monetary policy in our post financial crisis world will be discussed. Lastly, the opportunities in the Opportunistic Credit market will be covered and how clients could benefit.

About the Speakers:
John Hartwell Cocke, CFA
Partner, Co-Portfolio Manager Of Credit Strategies
John plays a lead role in the firm's special investments and co-investment programs, and also focuses on corporate credit, asset-backed credit and equity strategies. John is a member of Corbin's Investment Committee, the Private Investment Committee, and the Valuation Committee. He is also a member or observer on several private company boards as part of his investment responsibilities at Corbin. Prior to joining Corbin in March 2006, John was with UBS Investment Bank as an Analyst in the Global Telecommunications Group. Previously, he was an Investment Analyst at Bluestem Asset Management LLC, a hedge fund investment firm, where he performed research and participated in a variety of additional functions. While at Bluestem, John was a Graduate Instructor at the University of Virginia, McIntire School of Commerce where he taught Introductory Financial Accounting and Managerial Accounting classes. John earned his M.S. in Accounting and B.S. in Commerce from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia and was awarded the CFA charter in 2007.
Paul Fox
Director - Private Wealth
Paul is responsible for sales and relationship management within our private wealth distribution channels, which includes private banks, family offices and broker-dealers. Prior to joining Corbin in April 2015, Paul was the Head of Marketing and Investor Relations at Cross Shore Capital Management - a fund of hedge funds - where he was responsible for all client-related functions for the firm. Prior to joining Cross Shore, Paul spent 13 years at Arden Asset Management where he served as Executive Director, primarily focused on sales and relationship management for the firm's private wealth relationships. Paul graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in Economics from Long Island University.
